Just an additional comment, at least one of the patent inventors (Deborah Ann
Schade) is from Mead Johnson Research Center. She has had other infant
formula patents accepted. Birch and Hoffman belong to the Retina Foundation of SW
Dallas Texas, which has gotten funding from Mead Johnson. So the probability
of this application becoming a patent is close to 99.9%.
I never realized that Dr. Alan Greene is considered a spokesperson for Mead
Johnson--quite the shocker to me.
