Winnie, I think that this could be true. The worst and most "hostile"
posts were within the first hour or two. There were only angry ones for a
while, then the comments calmed down. If you and I knew that the 20/20
segment was coming perhaps the formula companies did too. ;) The forum
posts could have even been from just a few writers. All one had to do was
make up a name to log on with. (I noticed that Dr. Nancy Wight used her
real identity.)
I, too, remember the letters from guilt-ridden mothers who had been
chastised for not breastfeeding that were sent to HHS.
