This is totally off the top of my head, Wendy, and based on nothing
more than reading the newspapers, which report the concern about MRSA
in UK hospitals: I gather many healthy people are carriers of MRSA,
and just don't know it as it does not affect their health. From that,
one might surmise that many healthy mothers are carriers, too....and
their babies seem to be fine, as I have never heard of a baby
'catching' MRSA from his mother.
