I would probably make it simplier for mom and have her fortify all feedings
if this what they want to do. Skimming fat off of one feeding to add to
another will drive the dietician nuts as she won't be able to accurately calculate
calories unless mom is able to do a creamatocrit with each of these higher fat
feedings. Also when she pumps, remind her to massage to empty her breasts
completely as the milk at the end of the feeding is higher in fat. Also, according
to Team Australia, the more frequently she empties her breasts (pumping or
breastfeeding), the higher the overall fat content. Good luck and keep us posted
on her progress.
