As well as the lecithin, be sure to set her up with a handsfree bra (if
she doesn't have one already). She can mark and cut holes in a
reasonably snug (not tight) sports-type bra, adding elastic or snaps if
needed to keep the flanges in place. There are commercial handsfree
bras available - the pumpmoms Yahoo group is a good place to go for
recommendations and reviews. Then she will have two hands available to
massage and compress the blockage-prone areas while pumping, for more
complete emptying. Warm compresses before pumping can sometimes help
also.
Is she using a good-quality double electric pump?
