It is approved by the AAP for use in breastfeeding mothers--at least it was
before the 20/20 program.

This FDA alert is definitely the workings of the pharmaceutical/formula
companies. The FDA is not an independent body as most people think. There
have been numerous programs on tv exposing the shady and unethical
decisions by the FDA because of pressure by the drug companies.

Last year Bill Moyers had a segment on a drug that was truly dangerous in
preliminary testing but which was approved and defended by the FDA as safe
even with strong evidence from the scientists who studied the drugs.

These scientists were told to change their reports or they would be fired.
One man stayed and kept copies of the directives and after he had enough
evidence he went to the FDA. They ignored him, refused to allow critics of
the drug to testify, and supported the drug company with a stamp of approval.

I am not surprised that the drug/formula companies are going after
breastfeeding in this way. THey have a loyal friend in this government agency.

To not approve domperidone because the intravenous form caused adverse
effects is a false stance. There are so many drugs that have caused grave
harm and death but they still are approved and are on the market. Men died
taking Viagra but you didn't see the drug disapproved, did you?

The FDA is not a guardian of the health of the people. And this warning is
just the wording that the formula companies want to hear.

In response to reports that women...Wonder where those reports came from.

Money talks...and runs this country.
