One of the doulas I work with asked me to pass this on to the experts.
i'll search the archives if I must:) but if anyone can give me a yeah
or nay (or time period post procedure) in terms of when the baby can
nurse, that'd be great.
with permission:
<<Does anyone know if the dye used during an ifp (urological test for
kidney problems) is harmful for nursing babies? My reg dr wanted to do
one and we substituted a basic xray which showed possible kidney stones.
I have an appt on tuesday with an urologist and i suspect he will want
the ifp test. Any suggestions or comments. My baby is 10 months old and
this kidney stone has been bothering me since Feb. I need to address the
situation. I do not think i can put off any longer.
