Yes, we could come up with arguments why the comparison of choosing
which breast to nurse from with chosing whom to vote for may not be
a valid comparison.  However, the bigger picture is that behind the
ad is the assumption that breastfeeding is perfectly normal and
understood by the intended audience.  In making any analogy, it is
most effective when the circumstance being compared to is easily
itentified with.  In this respect, I think the ad is great and where
there is objection, it shows we still have work to do in making
breastfeeding the standard/norm.
