In reading all the posts re: dads and feeding got me to wondering if
anyone out there offers a fathers only class. Over the years I have
thought that this would be a good class for perinatal education
ddepartments to add to their offerings, but it seems the big stumbling
block is finding someone (obviously, man who is himself a father) to
teach/facilitate it. I know that daddy boot camps are sometimes offered,
but they don't seem to last long, at least in our area here. I do know
that the guys seems much more interested sometimes in the breastfeeding
classes than the women do (could be because they are not the pregnant ones
trying to sit for 2 hours in uncomfortable chairs).
I would be interested in hearing from anyone who is successfully offering
such classes and what your curriculum looks like.
