Thought I'd forward this on behalf of INFACT Canada: (I assume they'd be
useful for non-Canadians, too)

WBW 2004 Action Kits from INFACT Canada:

CANADA CELEBRATES WORLD BREASTFEEDING WEEK 2004

Exclusive Breastfeeding: the Gold Standard -

Safe, Sound, Sustainable Celebrated in Canada

OCTOBER 1-7, 2004

Join the Canadian breastfeeding community in celebrating World Breastfeeding
Week. This year's theme - Exclusive Breastfeeding: the Gold Standard - Safe,
Sound, Sustainable - provides a tremendous opportunity to get the message
out. Exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life provides all
the nutrition that babies need to grow and is vital to baby's health.
Exclusive breastfeeding means exactly that: baby receives only breast milk
from his or her mother or wet nurse, whether at the breast or from expressed
milk in bottle or cup. Mothers need to be supported to provide this
nutrition by their doctors, communities, friends and family.

To help celebrate and organize community events, INFACT Canada has prepared
an action kit that highlights this year's theme. The kit is both a useful
tool for action and a valuable source of knowledge about breastfeeding and
related topics. It contains information sheets and effective ideas for
action, including:

 · 14 Risk of Formula Feeding pamphlet (updated)

· Exclusive Breastfeeding - Vital to Baby's Health

· Exclusive Breastfeeding - Safe, Sound, Sustainable

· The High Cost of Formula Feeding

· Complementary Feeding

· Enough is Enough (obesity and formula feeding)

The kit also includes eye-catching visuals and promotional tools such as:

· NEW! "Cost of Formula Feeding" wheel

· NEW! "Mother Baby-Friendly Communities: You are welcome to breastfeed
here" and "Mother Baby-Friendly Communities: You've got what it takes!"
decals and stickers

· NEW! "Exclusive Breastfeeding: It's all your baby needs" pin-up posters

· Sample press release and tips for working with the media

· And lots, lots more!

The World Breastfeeding Action Kit 2004 costs $ 40 per kit, plus postage and
GST. Special rates apply for volume orders. The kit can be ordered directly
from the INFACT office.
