Has anyone worked with a mother who in the early days after her baby's birth
has experienced swelling of axillary lymphs nodes on one side? There is one
pea-sized lump, one a bit larger, and a third that is a few cm wide.
Mardrey, this story definitely sounds like milk ducts in her axillary. I do
not think her lymph nodes are what she is feeling. These can be uncomfortable
and very firm. They can also take a while to reabsorb the milk. Use cold
packs and avoid heat.
