I don't know. This type of thing elicits a mixed reaction from me: On the
one hand, my gung-ho LLL leader side gives it the thumbs-up as one of
those products in the "Hey, it can't hurt and if it encourages more moms
to want to nurse, go for it" category; while my skeptical (okay, cynical)
side says, "Whoa! Red flag! One more 'necessary' item to add to the
already daunting (in some mothers' view)list of requisites mothers
erroneously feel they must check off in order to successfully breastfeed -
and wouldn't Industry just love for that already ambivalent mother to see
this ad and be swayed to the other side.
