Hi all,
I haven't posted to Lactnet for quite a while. I have been doing some research to update a
CEU book I authored for nurses and I ran across a few things that I wanted to post to the list
(I didn't see them in the archives)

1. Domperidone petition:
The URL below will take you to a petition to the FDA for domperidone. It appears that the
Gastroparesis Patient Association For Cures and Treatment has started the petition
http://www.ipetitions.com/campaigns/Domperidone-FDA/

2. LC Wages:
My (X) LC partner is making an hourly wage nearly double what it was when I last worked
(January 1999). The shortage of nurses here in California has resulted in high wages to keep
employees.

3. Oddities--I know this kind of stuff is out there and I shouldn't be shocked but in doing a
search for "nipple stimulation" these 2 sites came up in the top 4 (Before you check these out
you might want to set your browser not to accept "cookies" just in case these sites use "spy
ware" to trap your email address for other sites if you know what I mean)
http://www.nipplefunwear.com/
and
http://nawtythings.com/nipple.html
These sites are not breast-feeding related and one of them actually says that their product
could be "addicting" to the wearer.
A grand collection of nipple stimulators (some resembling breast pumps) and nipple
enlargers. These products beg the question: could they somehow help moms with flat
nipples? I don't have the answer.

My health (hip) has continued to give me considerable grief. I seem to have "lost" years of
time in the wash in pain and pain medications. My pain is controlled but I am still unable to
work because it continues to dislocate at will. I have been looking forward to the Arizona
ILCA conference ever since the last one was there-!! However I was notified today that our
new California Governor has just dropped my worker's comp disability payments almost in
half per month but unless I find a way to pay for the conference--I just won't make it. But I
will keep trying until day one of the conference. Maybe I'll see some of you there
