Especially for DS babies wearing them in a sling, making sure it is well
flexed into a foetus-like way, will benefit more than breastfeding alone. It will
help them stay flexed and not be as hypotone all the time. Plus the continuing
mother-child contact and interaction will assist this baby to achieve the of
maximum mental development that is his potential. Actually it could be seen as
the pre-start of early intervention techniques that are commonly used in DS
children.
