All other suggestions have been great!
I'm also wondering if baby could be reacting to taste-does Mom smoke AT ALL?
I worked with a teenage Mom a number of years ago who denied smoking on
initial visit because she was only smoking 3-4/day, immediately after feeds. Once
she increased the number past 4, the baby would refuse her milk.
This baby could be appearing to feed well and "like it" at first due to
hunger but once the hunger has subsided, taste may become more of a factor. Has Mom
tasted her milk?
