Pacifier Use Does Not Affect Breastfeeding in Preterm Infants
The use of pacifiers in preterm infants seems to have no effect on the
likelihood of breastfeeding on hospital discharge, new research suggests
in the June 17 online issue of the British Medical Journal.  Also,
contrary to a previous report, pacifier use does not shorten the length
of stay.
