Hi,

thank you everyone for your suggestions. Please let me clarify some
information. The clients she is seeing hve been discharged hoem. She is in private
practice, but many peds refer to her. She recently told a client of mine who has a
full term 7 lb ababy that she shouldn't try to breastfeed because the baby's
moth is n't big enough. This was the straw that sent me to lactnet. I have
been hearing the some story from moms for several years.

I have apporached by reeducation of moms and one on one in home support of
breastfeeding and referals to other IBLCs. I am very knowledgable about
breastfeeding especially multiples as I have worked with many set and most exculsuvly
breastfeed.

I am sorry to become so upset bout this it is just very frustrating to have a
client who may be struggling but is committed to breastfeeding told that she
shouldn't even bother until later when the baby is bigger, ect.
