Sounds like a good plan. My one question would be "did her milk come in
early and abundant on approximately day 2-4?" If it did, then I would
believe the problem lies with the baby's inability to suckle effectively
(due to tongue tie and/or other problems presenting early post birth).
If her milk did not "come in" abundantly in first few days, then it would be
a maternal problem and/or mother-baby interactive.
Your plan would work well in either case (tongue release, supplementing w/
sns, freqt feeds/pumps, domperidone), however if the mother did not
experience lactogenesis II, then further investigations may be warranted on
her.
