Have any of you seen this dreadful piece of misinformation?~~
we were just discussing this article on an AP board i frequent. this
statement in particular really made the natives restless, myself included:
~~ And whether you breastfeed for an entire year or only during the early
months, you're going to need to supplement with formula at some point. ~~
made me feel like writing this woman directly just so she'd know there are
many many mothers out there who do it for YEARS w/out ever utilizing a drop of
formula. unfortunately for the author, many of the moms at my board felt the
same, as someone did an online search and posted her name, address and home
phone. i imagine she's got the idea by now as thousands of mothers from all over
the world access the board...
~jacqui gruttadauria, who is very proud she didn't dial so much as a digit of
her # !
