I just printed out an article from JHL 20(2) 2004 "Breasfeeding Information in
Pediatric Textbooks" Philipp et al
very interesting and well done- the most widely used textbook "Nelson's" scored
only 45% correct breastfeeding information! highest was "Rudolph's" with 89%
correct and lowest was "Textbook of clinical pediatrics" 25%
So, although this wrong information shouldn't be said or passed around- just
remember- most of these docs are well intentioned
