I am looking for a breastfeeding video showing latching with flat nipples.
(Oh, inverted too would be great.) Is there one out there? (If not, can one of
you wise wonderful video makers please create one for me at a reasonable
price?) This has been flat nipple week for me. One from pit induced pre-eclamptic
swollen edemous mom (who now has ankles the size of her legs), which responded
well to RSP and will improve since baby has been at breast, but the other a
two week old who has never been to breast and mom has extra large breasts with
small flat nipples (meaning even if they were not flat, they are barely there)
and a baby who has been bottle fed and needs more practice to latch
well---but at least he tried and managed to figure it out for several minutes. In my
experience, I find many mothers feel reassured just knowing other mothers have
nipples just like them and breastfeed. Sometimes when a mom feels
particularly worried I show her a pic from the Atlas and she is immediately relieved
just to know she is not alone. Imagine how nice to be able to show her a video
with a baby attaching to the less than picture perfect breast most of the
photos and diagrams presents.

Also, if anyone has any magic hints that are not already in the archives, I
am open to new suggestions. I keep thinking after all these years there must
be some quick fix or new method discovered and I am just not aware of it yet.

Thanks,
