Hi Valerie,
I for one, think what you are doing is important valuable work. There are
some posts I automatically delete, but I automatically read yours.
You wrote:
I have spoken at the past two Florida LLL Conferences and was told that my
topic (Breastmilk as Big Business) was rather controversial and some people
felt not relevant to LLL leaders. I haven't been asked this year, hm....I
guess I shouldn't wonder why.
LLL, like many other large organizations, is made up of all kinds of people
and the way they approach learning. Please don't assume that your contacts
in Florida represent the entire LLL population. Your topic IS controversial
but that shouldn't keep us from talking about it and informing Leaders and
mothers. I know many of us in Missouri follow your posts and talk about
them. Keep on keeping on. This is important work!
Warmly,
Nikki Simmons
