I think fore-hindmilk are symptoms of a "formula-as-the-norm-society" way of
breastfeeding.
It is a topic when feedings are spaced long enough for milk sit in the breast
doing nothing.
In moms with an oversupply issue it is a symptom of something not going well.
It can, on the other hand, be used therapeutic like in mother's milk
engineering (see Paula Meier) to get high fat milk for premies and dysmature infants.
