This is the silliest thing I have ever heard. As if somehow the laws of chemistry are suspended for distilled water. Water molecules have some unique properties but are perfectly understandable. And don't violate natural law.
"Boiling" simply meets turn into vapour, and of course you can boil distilled water. It just doesn't bubble in the same way. There will be lots of movement of the water and some rolling of the surface however.
