I am looking to see what outpatient lactation programs are at any of the
children's hospitals in the United States. I work as an inpatient lactation
consultant at a free standing children's hospital and am planning to write a
proposal for next years budget asking for an outpatient lactation consultant position
to support our Neo clinic, other specialty clinics,as well as our primary
care clinics. If anyone knows of any programs and has any information as to
staffing, reimbursement and benefits/outcomes, please email me.
Thanks
Chris Smith, RN, IBCLC
