Hell Lactnetters,
I have a mom with a condition called lichen sclerosis. I don't know much
about it except the treatment she is prewscribed is testosterone propionate,
a 2% vaginal application. I have been tryihng to find out if it is consucive
to breastfeeding. Hale does not contain a monograph on this medication and
posting to his forum on the website yielded no replies since May 27. I can't
determine if it will be absorbed into the blood stream. If it is absorbed my
guess is it could lower the milk supply. Any thoughts or information would
be appreciated.
