Right Heather!! And you can add to that coercion by guilt: i.e.  " your
baby will have brain damage if you don't give it artificial milk now!!"
or  …" can't you see that your poor baby is starving!!"
 Here in Israel,  litigation has not reached ridiculous levels as it has
in the States, and it could even bring some desired results in terms of
infant feeding. Health professionals should have some liability in their
recommendations of feeding choices to parents, and in the information
that they pass on.  
 Even after the Remedia scandal, where babies died from artificial milk
that was lacking vitamin B1,  we have not seen major changes in
policies.
