I haven't seen sage mentioned or the use of pseudophedrine (Sudafed) - I know
that's controversial.....but sage might help. Sounds like the fast flow
causes him to "Chomp" and that's causing the pain. There are also some good tips
in the articles on the La Leche League Website www.lalecheleague.org regarding
overactive let down and supply.
I used to take baby off at the first let down, let the milk spray into a
clean cloth or cup and put her back on after the spray stopped.
