Hello,
Many raw foodists eat lots of fatty foods in form of nuts and seeds (and
avocado). I certainly ate tons of fat while I was on that diet and did
not experience any problems with nursing (my child was around 15 -16
months at that time).
(this is a little off-topic, but not everyone can tolerate a raw food
diet. And, most people who start a raw food diet, will eventually go
back to cooked food. I went on it for a few weeks, then added cooked
fish to it so I would get B12 for sure. The experiment lasted for about
6 weeks. All that time my existing hypoglycemia problems (low blood
sugar) got worse and worse until I was experiencing a constant see-saw
in the blood sugar levels, and then went back to cooked food. But see,
as raw foodists talk about 'de-tox' symptoms, I thought maybe I was
experiencing those.
