BWC, Naomi and others write about how the system failed Dr. Sanghavi and his
wife.
Although I am sympathetic to their difficulty, in actuality we know little
about their experience. Haven't we all had patients that have a much
different perception of their experience than ours? Why do we immediately assume it
was a "system" failure? Not everything can be fixed. Whomever the LCs were
that worked with this family (no, I don't know them) may have done all that was
possible to assist. Sometimes "the system" works and sometimes it doesn't and
sometimes "success" or "failure" have little to do with it.
