What is the actual incidence of bactermia in PP moms? Fever can be lots of
causes, I guess the question really needs to be rephrased: Why jump to the
worst scenario and throw breastfeeding out? Fever can occur after epidural, we
see that often in our hospital, probably 10-20% of PP moms have fever, which
disappears 24-48 hours after birth with no intervention. What a shame it would
be to discourage breastfeeding in these moms because of this?
