Thought I would try to find your manual on Amazon. I also remember hearing
about this technique. Instead found this interesting excerpt:
reference to Oketani Manual Technique of Breast Treatment in this book:
      1. on Page 90:
      "... been better - or even not until the child could walk since `being
weaned is an important step towards independence'. Oketani's method of
weaning is extremely radical:71 she advises the mother to draw a face on
each breast and to lift her blouse each time the child demands his due by
saying: `All gone!' `Some babies are surprised, ..."
