Dear Friends:
To add to Barbara's thorough post I would ask about any retained
placental fragments. A c/s is no guarantee of an intact placenta.
Dr. Uvnas-Moberg and others have documented that c/s delays milk volume
increase. And if the mother got steroids in labor, to mature the lungs of a
baby, that can add another 12 days of delay to the milk volume increasing.
