I'd like to write a letter to our newspaper regarding the AAP and soda vs
AAP and formula positions. I'm wondering if anyone who has a Riorden and
Auerbach could look something up for me. When I was studying for the
boards last summer, I remember reading something about artificially fed
infants consuming something like 40,000 more calories at 6 months of age
than their breastfed counterparts. Can anyone provide me with the actual
numbers? I borrowed the book from a friend and don't have it anymore.
I'd like to point out the obesity connection.
Thanks,
