Milk banks freeze pasteurized milk in glass -- which is the preferred
container. I often tell mothers looking for inexpensive, re-cycle-able
storage containers to sterilize small glass jars. This can be done by
boiling i a large pot. They can leave a bit of room for expansion of the
frozen milk, and screw on a tight cap.
