Carol,
My suggestion is to use a cup for supplemental feedings.  A  cup with
expressed milk seems like an inexpensive alternative to a lactaid/SNS.  At 6 months
of age, many babies are willing to sip from a cup because they see mom using
cups and want to imitate the behavior.   This baby maybe on a nursing strike and
just need a little time to go back to feeding at the breast.
