i find you can just pull the tube up so the end that is in the bottle is
suspended by the slit in the nipple, a little above the milk line until
needed.  another option would be to put the bottle containing the tube so
far below breast level as to make it virtually impossible for the baby's
suction to pull up the milk until desired, then move it to the correct height.
