The question was raised about whether a baby would "die in just 3
days" from malnutrition. Was the article stating it took individual
babies only 3 days to die from the formula or that over a 3 day
period a certain number of babies had died? It's all in how you
state the information.

At any rate, this is a truly tragic story. Reminds me of the one
from several years back when a mom in some "undeveloped" country
brougt a severely emaciated baby to the clinic. When asked what she
was feeding baby she proudly announced, "Milk. Milk from a
bottle." While the staff at the clinic had seen babies malnourished
from formula and its misuse, they hadn't seen one quite this bad so
they asked the mom to bring the milk in. When she did she pointed
to the label and stated, "See, Milk" Unfortunately, with her
limited education, she could not read that under the word "Milk" it
said "of Magnesia"!!! Alittle knowledge can be a dangerous thing!

Winnie
