Thank you for everyone who responded to my pleas for help for the dear
friend of my best friend.   She now has
1)located and purchased a high quality PIS type pump.  hopefully she
won't need it.
2)found breastfeeding support and is hooked into LLL.
3)switched hospitals and is giving birth at the baby friendly hospital.
(phew!!)
4)has hired a mw to come to her house, labor with her, then accomany her
to the hospital.
5)finished reading a few books on natural birth and as of today feels

"calm and prepared for giving birth.   It will hurt, it's hard work, and
I can do it.  There's no doubt in my mind that i'll be able to overcome
any breastfeeding difficulties that may come up.  I'm ready to work
through anything this time."  (nursed first baby 6 weeks wtih much
supplementation.  had supply issues probably due to poor latch and
therefore poor milk transfer)

Thank you thank you thank you everyone.  She's touched and amazed by all
of the support that's come her way "from people half way across the
world".
