Winnie: Your "some" days are my usual days - it's very rare that I have
less than 15-20 inpt. moms to see as well as the phone calls, drop-in and
scheduled outpt. moms, SCN babies (we've been running a daily census of 12-
15 in an 8 bed unit), and then my favorite - meetings! And I didn't even
mention the management duties that are a daily expectation!
This is why it is so important that we empower parents to take
responsibility for their own and baby's health care. We can't do it all!
