A baby who is recovering from heart surgery will have better oxygenation,
less resp and cardio brady and taci problems, better suck-swallow-breathe
rhythm, and probably less recovery problems if given human milk DIRECTLY
from the breast. See Paula Meirers ect for documentation to present to the
surgeon about this. There is a wealth of info about heart health and
breastfeeding.
Wonderful statement! Let's turn it around when it's presented:
A baby who is recovering from heart surgery will have poorer oxygenation,
more resp and cardio brady and taci problems, poorer suck-swallow-breathe
rhythm, and probably more recovery problems if given human milk from a
bottle.
