Hello, Peg.
You say the babies weaned a year ago, yet the mom still has milk in
her breasts. Are we talking about just a drop or two she can express when doing
her monthly self-exam? Or are we talking about enough milk to feel firmness
in the breasts and to express a significant amount? If it's more than just a
few drops, she might ask her doctor to check for a benign tumor on the
pituitary. This can cause significant milk and breast fullness, among other
symptoms.
