I have heard similar conversations among nurses. They always knew I was
there when they brought up the topic of discussion. It's not like I was
hidden behind the support pillar. I don't take the bait.

Well sometimes I do! Depends on how onery I am feeling. I'll tend to say
something like 'funny you should mention that. I never put any of my kids
in car seats and they are all in college now." Shuts 'em right up.
