This is the argument made by people who consider infant feeding to be an
equivalent, either/or lifestyle choice. This is the argument made by people
who reject the idea that BFing, or not BFing, is a major health care issue.
Suggest to then that it is up to them to prove that the alternative is both
safe and effective - and I don't mean anecdotal evidence, like observations
of their own children, or patients in their practices.
It is not your job to prove that what is normal, is actually the best, and
that any substitute will always come up short. Baby may gain weight on it,
but will have any number of deficits in health &/or development.

Tired as everyone else about the same old protestations. I think they have
a false perception of keeping their patients happy so they will keep their
patients.
