I, too , have a co-leader friend whose daughter developed Type 1 diabetes -
with no risk factors.
All of us have individual cases that belie the statistics.  We have to
remember that a  case of one doesn't alter the overall statistic that less
BF population get Type 1 diabetes than the general formula fed population.
Same idea as BFing helps decrease breast or ovarian Ca, but we all know
