A woman having her 5th child was diagnosed with Hodgkin disease while nursing
her second child. Her physicians required her to wean and she had extensive
radiation to the chest and hence the breasts. Her third child, born within 5
years of treatment did fairly well. Her last two, born 10 and 16 years later
have not been able to thrive at the breast. It would make sense that there
would be some long term effects of radiation, but I am inquiring if anyone has
documentation.
thanks,
Judi Hall
