apply outside of the delivery room. Basic
CPR should be taught for anyone not attending the delivery room. It
is a waste of time and money and a
misuse of a process to teach it to "everyone' that touches a baby.
It can also lead to errors in practice when lay people or people who
do not fully understand it's intention are taught medical procedures
that they don't have a basis for."
