I have permission to post. I recieved a phone call from a 3rd time BF
mother with a 3 mo male who had never formed a seal around the breast but still
gained weight and is thriving on breastmilk. Milk supply has never been an
issue for her much to her baby's benefit. Prior to the Christmas break, the baby
would take the occasional bottle with dair success. During the 2 week break
from school, mom exclusively breastfed again. Now he is refusing the bottle. The
family is already hooked up with an OT and the mother plans to discuss
alternatives with the OT. We discussed the Haberman. I am asking if anybody else has
any other ideas. Baby does not suck off a pacifier or on a finger. Thank you
for your help.
