Can you be more specific. Fairly rapid weight gain can be a sort of "pink
flag" for oversupply. As you have apparently considered, sounds like both
oversupply and overactive MER would be the first thing to rule out,
before any invasive testing. Different people give different kinds of
advice however. I have seen mothers present with all different amounts
and degrees of both of these.

Is she using both sides at most feedings? Usually just one? Or two or
more feedings on the same breast? What is her bra cup size, and how often
are the feedings? These matters might give some clues to storage
capacity, and whether it might be one of the factors. Have pre and post
weight ever been done? (For the opposite reason than is usually done of
course :-) Perhaps this baby is getting overfed due to oversupply, and
simply getting rid of the excess. Do the stools ever have a greenish
tinge? Does baby have lower abdominal gas and relatively fast explosive
passage of stool? Has she ever been counseled to try triggering the MER
first and waiting for a full three minutes to offer breast? Have
antigravity positions been used consistently for 2-3 days in a row to see
how baby reacts?

My apologies if you have covered all these bases, but I thought that
discussing on LN the specifics and any "lacto-engineering" you have
already done might be very instructive to others.
