They disagree with the AAP Secition on Breastfeeding who states"about 6 months".
For the record: the Yellow Book - the AAP's "Pediatric Nutrition Handbook" - went out to AAP members courtesy of NESTLE. There is a note inside the front cover thanking Nestle for their generous funding which allows pediatricians to receive a free copy. A group of dissenting docs at BMC sent theirs back with a letter of complaint and bought their own copies, and I would urge any other pedis out there who got one free from the AAP to please do the same.
